I have started to realize how blessed my life really is. Every day I get to wake up to 2 beautiful and healthy children, I have a great babysitter with the patience of a saint (laugh), I have a job that pays me well enough to live on, and I have a nice drive to and from work that allows me to key up for my day and wind down for my day — a drive in which I get to indulge in my various podcasts, audiobooks, and music on my iPods (yes, the plural is correct, I have 2 of them). My drive allows me to get ready for the tasks I have ahead of me at work, watch the world go by, and notice the changes in the cycles of nature in my small prairie area.

Every morning I get to see the snowy owls sitting on the telephone polls, the foxes and coyotes are now wandering in the fields looking for the gophers, and the falcons have come out to feed on the mice and other rodents in the area. I see the Canada Geese returning for the spring. I’ve watched the mornings start later and later, and then earlier and earlier…

So… a few days ago I bit the bullet and wrote an email response to one of my favourite Pagan podcasts (From the Edge of the Circle with Tommy Elf)… and Tommy READ MY EMAIL (in its entirety) on the show!! YAY! I was so flattered. I may try it again sometime.

Tonight the kids and I tried to make origami cranes. I don’t think 5 and 7 year olds are really able to do origami that well… Maybe we needed bigger paper… but the folding was difficult for both of them. In the end I ended up making all three of them…

Oh well…

Until next time

Your Comment:

This is the blog of a 30-something woman. I am a single mother of 2 children (9 year old son, 7 year old daughter). I am walking a Pagan Path. I am divorced. I am a geek girl. I am a nature’s child. I am a seeker. I am a talker. I am sometimes jubilant, sometimes creative, sometimes anxious, sometimes bitter… I run the gamut of emotions as I go through walking not only my Pagan Path but my everyday daily LIFE Path.

My interests include creativity, art, crafts, magick, nature, spirituality, writing, collecting blank books, pens and office supplies, technology, myths, kids, colours… hell… I might write on ANYTHING that strikes my fancy.
