So… since I know that this is something that everyone in the world cares about, I have decided to suck it up and do the “Christmas Wish List” thing, for no one else but my mother.

1. Green iPod Nano — either the 8G or the 16G, although I’d prefer the 16G. Yes, I have a 30G iPod already, but I need something small I can take with me to the gym during the winter or when I go out for walks in the summer.

6. Blank books — because, SERIOUSLY, I can always use more, particularily MOLESKINE books.
7. Ott light. I’d like to go back to doing needlework in the evenings instead of spending so much time on the computer after the kids go to bed (don’t I write enough?) and so I think I really do need a good needlework light/lamp. But it really needs to be directional (I can aim it where i need to) and bright.
8. Movies and TV shows on DVD. Seriously, I my cable is so bad that I barely watch tv most days… I just do not get most of the channels that I like (my landlord suddenly changed the cable package and now I get only VERY VERY basic cable (channels 1-13, 22, 44, and the weather network) so I tend to miss all the shows I like. I would enjoy getting:
a)seasons of TV shows like Heros, Corner Gas, Little Mosque on the Prairie, Dead Like Me…
b) movies to replace the ones that I never got back from STBX:
-The Dark Crystal
-Titanic
-Lord of the Rings Trilogy
- Shakespeare in Love
-kids movies by Disney (or kids TV shows too)
-The Dark Knight
-Hellboy 1 and 2
Actually… pretty much anything sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, drama, or romantic… I have VERY slim pickings (the first three of the Indiana Jones movies) right now and I would very much enjoy having a few more movies (especially the kind I can watch over and over) of my own. I have asked for a few of my movies back from STBX, but apparently the joy of owning over 300 movies has made him greedy, and he refuses to provide me with a list of the movies we acquired during our marriage, much less allow me to actually TAKE any of them permanently (he’ll LOAN them to me, which I think is frea-hicking-larious since technically I OWN them just as much as he does).
