So… I figured out how to upload my podcast onto the place where I put the FIRST one…

This episode is still a bit short (about 38 mins) but I’m working on it.

This time I have focused on how I have been struggling with how to narrow my identity to Pagan, even though I have set out to do a Pagan-centered podcast. I discuss a bit of my past Pathwalking, and ramble on a bit about myself as usual.

I’d like to hear (if anyone is listening/reading) about how you honour your Path in terms of altars. Do you have an altar in your home? If so, where? Is it a formal altar dedicated to a specific pantheon or diety? Is it a collection of spiritual items you feel called to pick up? Any ideas or suggestions on setting up an altar for the first time?

Well… I have Episode 2, such that it is, “in the can” and ready to go… 

but it seems that I need to get podhosting as well. I know I uploaded one episode previously, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how I did it, or where I hosted it… its like most of the things on this blog. I don’t know how to work it, I can’t fix the things that are bothering me because I really have no idea where the essential controls are under the program, and I don’t know where the program is because I don’t really have an idea where IT is hosted. 

So… it will be a few more days before I figure out if I can do the things that I want to do, adding the tag buttons, setting up a way to subscribe by email (or get emails sent out automatically when I post an entry), or fix the front page. And until I have podbean up and running for hosting the podcast I won’t have that either…

Of course, if you want it (mp3 format) you can email me and I’ll send it to you!

One issue I have with keeping up with a blog is that there are just things that I can’t write here. So… in order to get things out that I can’t write in a public forum (never mind that no one knows its here) I write on other journal/blog sites. Read the rest of this entry »

So… I’ve been tossing about the idea of adding my voice to the universe of Podcasts. Do I think that anyone would care to hear wht I have to say? Not in the least.

I have started to realize how blessed my life really is. Every day I get to wake up to 2 beautiful and healthy children, I have a great babysitter with the patience of a saint (laugh), I have a job that pays me well enough to live on, and I have a nice drive to and from work that allows me to key up for my day and wind down for my day — a drive in which I get to indulge in my various podcasts, audiobooks, and music on my iPods (yes, the plural is correct, I have 2 of them). My drive allows me to get ready for the tasks I have ahead of me at work, watch the world go by, and notice the changes in the cycles of nature in my small prairie area.

Every morning I get to see the snowy owls sitting on the telephone polls, the foxes and coyotes are now wandering in the fields looking for the gophers, and the falcons have come out to feed on the mice and other rodents in the area. I see the Canada Geese returning for the spring. I’ve watched the mornings start later and later, and then earlier and earlier…
